Help on my new clingy and boyfriend?

okay, so i'v been seeing this guy for like 2 months and hes pratically my boyfriend now! Hes really nice, and we really connect but hes clingy and a rubbish kisser! :( Ive told him about the clingyness in public and said that i dont mind it when its just me and him! but now its starting to bug me! I cant sit there and watch tv with him without him asking me why im being grumpy??! when all im doing is sitting watching tv! He thinks that because im not touching him or eating his face im upset! Thats another thing, hes not a very good kisser :\ he doesn't stop for breathe!!! it feels like a washing machine, i can't breathe and feel like im drowning! i hate it :( How can i subtly break it to him without sounding horrible and hurting his feelings?? thanks!
