I would move on. I mean at least your friend was trying to help. And you really didn't know em' so, it wouldn't matter. And at least he knows the truth. And when you see him and he says hi, just give him a casual hi and walk away. You can always find another guy. I mean, if you didn't know him that well, maybe it's best you could just move on, and you guys didn't talk this whole summer so, I think you'll be okay...and I hate to tell you this...but maybe he likes your friend...
